Join Walter for a live recording of the North of 48 Podcast as he interviews Metta Spencer is a Canadian sociologist, writer, peace researcher, and activist. Metta is an activist for peace and nuclear disarmament. She studied at Berkley and Harvard and In 2009, Spencer organized the Zero Nuclear Weapons public forum in Toronto, jointly sponsored by four major Canadian peace organizations with which she has been involved since the mid-80s: Physicians for Global Survival, Canadian Voice of Women for Peace, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate organization Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, and Science for Peace.

Metta has also been instrumental in Russian studies and visited the Soviet Union during Gorbachev’s time for conferences. She has a Podcast that she has been doing since 2016, here is the latest link as she has a panel discussing the Russian view of leaving and avoiding the war.

So, I’m going to talk about everything they entail - from how people with Cluster B disorders operate, respond, and view the world, and why - specifically, what do we know about their underlying neuropathologies? What differences exist, structurally or functionally, between the brains of healthy controls and people with diagnosed Cluster B disorders? What have brain imagine studies revealed?
