At home, in The Mining City, Tech plays on Kelvin Samson Court, in recognition of Coach Samson’s 5yrs and lasting impact as an Oredigger in his first ever collegiate head basketball coaching opportunity. Under Samson’s tutelage, the Orediggers racked up 3 Frontier Conference titles in back to back fashion from 1983 - 1985.
