Tonight we will watch and discuss a presentation, called A Greater Beauty:The Drawings of Kahlil Gibran. This presentation will explore the spirituality, art and legacy of this Lebanese-American writer, poet and mystic. He is best known as the author of “The Prophet, a collection of his poetic essays and drawings which was first published in the United States in 1923 and has since become one of the best selling books of all time. It has been translated into more than 100 languages, making it among the top ten most translated books in history.
