This film tells the remarkable true story of Luna, a young wild killer whale (orca) who became separated from his family on the coast of British Columbia. Instead of fading away as many isolated orcas do, Luna defied the odds and sought connection with the people of Nootka Sound, a narrow stretch of sea between mountains.
