This film tells the remarkable true story of Luna, a young wild killer whale (orca) who became separated from his family on the coast of British Columbia. This documentary challenges us to consider how we might react if we encountered an outsider from beyond our world and how similar it might be to the way we interacted with Luna—a being who reached out with innocence and hope.
This discussion will not only focus on Luna’s journey but also on the broader themes of connection, understanding, and the shared experiences that can unite even the most unlikely of friends.
