Agenda: How To Respond To The Time We Are Living Through: An Ecumenical Gathering Of Eight Spiritual Leaders And Activists Sharing Their Insights
We will finish watching and discussing the last four presentations of this webinar sponsored by Aspen Chapel, beginning this time with Cyprian Consiglio. Speakers include the following:
Tim Shriver - chairperson of the Special Olympics, educator, filmmaker, and activist.
Marianne Williamson - spiritual leader and best selling author, progressive activist, and former presidential candidate.
Cynthia Bourgeault - a modern day mystic, Episcopal priest, spiritual author.
Matthew Fox - spiritual theologian, an Episcopal priest, founder of the Creation Spirituality Institute, and an activist for gender justice and eco-justice.
Cyprian Consiglio - Christian monk, musician, composer, author and teacher. He is involved in inter-religious dialogue.
Andrew Harvey - internationally known spiritual leader, author, and founder of the Institute of Sacred Activism.
Shane Claiborne - prominent speaker, activist, and author. Shane heads up Red Letter Christians, a movement of peoplecommitted to living as if Jesus meant the things he said.
Sherri Mitchell - a Penobscot lawyer, author, teacher, and activist from Maine, and author of “Sacred Instructions: Indigenous Wisdom” that provides a roadmap for the spirit and a compass of compassion for humanity.
Bonus: Tom also may open the session by performing a brand new political song he and his wife Barb wrote called Scrambled Eggs.
